Congratulations to the two Danny Ward Memorial Scholarship winners for 2022. Each scholarship recipient was awarded $1,500 toward their farrier school tuition.
Wyatt Poling is currently a student in the 36 week Journeyman Horseshoeing Course at Troy Price Horseshoeing School. In his thank you to the scholarship committee, Wyatt stated, “…I never had the honor of meeting Danny, but I hope to honor his name and legacy by becoming the best farrier I can possibly be!”
The other scholarship award winner was Abigail Camasta. She is attending Heartland Horseshoeing School and completing the 24 week Journeyman Farrier Course. In her thank you for the scholarship, Abigail stated, “…Danny is someone I look up to. He inspired me so much just by how much he connected and taught so many people.”
We wish them both the best as they start their farrier career journey!
